HAMRICK / WEEK OF JANUARY 17th - 20th

Students will continue their research and begin creating a presentation of their chosen artist. They should make sure that they cover the most important information about the artist. There is a minimum of 5 slides and no more than 10, although I don't believe you can include enough information and material on only 5 slides. The more work you do, the higher your grade will be. DO NOT PLAGARIZE!!! Read about the artist and rewrite the story about them in your own words. Make the slides as interesting and colorful as you can. Add transitions to the slides and try different font styles and sizes. Correct grammar is a must! A works cited slide is not required. These presentations will be due by Sunday, January 23rd, at 11:59 p.m. Please email me if you have questios or need me to make suggestions.

HAMRICK / AUGUST 23rd-26th ART I-V

Students will review the basic Elements & Principles of Art, and they will discuss why these "tools" are necessary in creating art. Students will begin warming up on their drawing skills by drawing Contour & Blind Contour drawings of their non-dominant hand. After sufficient practicing students will draw other objects of their choice using the contour & blind contour method. Students will draw a Contour & Blind Contour drawing of an object of their choice, and both drawings will be turned in for a grade.
